Using the Library

Accessing the collection is easy with your library card. Visit a Roanoke County Public Library to check out materials or use our virtual library to check out eBooks, eMagazines, and eAudiobooks. Place items on hold through our catalog or give us a call. So we can verify your information, please have your library card number available.

Visit our eCollection to borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines with services like Libby and cloudLibrary. Each platform offers different items, so be sure to check them all out. Placing Items on Hold

To place physical items on hold with your library card visit rvl.info or give your favorite Roanoke County Library a call during operating hours. If you’re looking to browse, check out NovelistPlus, available for free with your library card. You can also sign up for our Library Concierge service to receive books each month based on your favorite genres, we even have Video Valet for movie lovers!
