Purpose
The purpose of the Social Services Advisory Board is to interest itself in all matters pertaining to the social welfare of the people of the city or county served by it.
Composition
Each advisory board consists of 5 to 13 members. In the case of such board representing a district, there is at least one member on the board from each county and city in the district.
The Social Services Advisory Board is comprised of at least seven members, one representing each magisterial district, one liaison representative from the Board of Supervisors, and a representative from the City of Salem.
