[ARCHIVED] Update on Brush Collection Efforts (6/21/13 3:38 PM)

Due to the heavy demand for collection after the recent storm, brush collection is significantly delayed in Roanoke County. Crews are currently finishing brush collection for Tuesday A Week residents and will begin on Wednesday A Week brush tomorrow (Saturday, June 22). Thursday A Week brush is anticipated to be picked up the beginning of next week (Week of June 24). As a result of the delay for A Week residents, B Week residents will experience a significant delay as well. Please place all brush to the curb on your usual collection day and we will get to your street as soon as we possibly can. Please do not mix bulk items with the brush as the brush cannot be collected with bulk intermingled. If you have any questions, please contact the Solid Waste Division as 387-6225. Thank you for your patience during this collection period. We will provide periodic updates regarding our progress.
