[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Offices and Facilities Closed Monday, February 15, 2016

Roanoke County offices, recreation centers, and libraries will be closed Monday, February 15, 2016 due to inclement weather.

Garbage collection will be on a delayed schedule by at least one day for the week of February 15, 2016. Crews will not attempt to collect garbage until Tuesday, February 16, 2016, after daybreak.

After daylight on Tuesday, we will begin collecting as many Monday streets as we safely can. Each road is evaluated individually, so we ask for your patience as we collect trash this week. We will be making every attempt to service as many roads as possible in as safe a manner as possible.

Newsflashes will be sent out daily to provide more information and updates on our progress accordingly. While the crews will not be out on Monday, the office staff will be available for any questions at (540) 387-6225. We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through this weather event.
