The storm that moved through the area this afternoon has impacted parts of Roanoke County with downed trees, power lines and rising water. Numerous road closures are in place at this time, including:
- 6400 block of Bradshaw Road
- Carlos Drive
- Bandy Rd at Goodman Road
- 5400 block of Palm Valley Road
- 2900 block of Harborwood Road
- Verndale Drive at Orlando Ave.
The Police Department would like to remind people of the dangers of driving through high water or driving around downed power lines.
