Summer Reading Recap

Summer Reading ended earlier this month and we as a community read 51,000 books! We can't wait for next year to see how many books we read together.

All prize winners have been notified. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone that participated.

The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Join the Friends to support the library you love! The Friends of the Library also have a book sale coming up in October. This is their main fundraiser to fund the Summer Reading Program. If you have books at home, bring them to the library for the Friends to sell at one of their sales. All proceeds support the library. If you have questions, give the South County Library a call at 540-772-7507.

Host a Meeting with Us

Looking for a space to hold a meeting? Check out the library! Glenvar, Hollins, South County, and Vinton's meeting rooms are available for you. The spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis by reservation at a nominal charge. Visit our website for details and to make your reservations.
