Winter Reading Program for Adults & Kids

Starting January 30!

Children up to age 5: Read 20 books in the various multi-cultural categories. Return your completed log to your local branch and be entered to win the grand prize.

Adults: Read three books for a prize. Categories include: book that feel like home, book that is an adventure, and book from a different culture.

Need help finding titles? Come and ask! We are happy to help.

Paper reading logs are available starting January 30. Program ends March 18. Logs must be turned in to your favorite RCPL location by closing on March 18.

New Catalog Feature

Did you know that you can get curated emails sent to you with recommendations? Visit rvl.info and click on My Account. From there, click on Notification Preferences then the Area of Interest tab. Sign up for as many as you like. Categories include new fiction, graphic novels, romance, picture books, and more. Questions or need assistance? Come and see us or give us a call. 3D Printing Available At the Library

The library provides access to new and emerging technologies, such as 3D printers, to inspire interest in design and assist people in bringing their creations to life.

To submit a print job, please use our online form.

Sunlight is essential for a healthy lifestyle. A therapy light brings daylight indoors by emitting a bright white, full spectrum light that safely mimics sunlight (and without the UV-rays).

Mt. Pleasant Library Remodel

The Mt. Pleasant Library is undergoing a remodel starting February 6. The library will be closing at 2pm on February 4. We can't wait for you to see the updated changes that are being made to better serve our community!

Remodel Highlights:
More natural light with new windows
New shelving, fixtures, and service desk
New doors, lighting, and HVAC
Updated restroom

A temporary location is going to open at the Fire Station across the street! Details to come.
