Will you be able to find my house in an emergency?
In an emergency, would the police department, fire department, or ambulance be able in finding your address? Even with all the technology available to us, it does not always help us find where you are.

To assist emergency responders to find your house more easily, clearly label your address. County Code Article Six Section 7-81 advises that building numbers shall not be less than three inches in height and shall be made of durable and clearly visible or light-reflecting material. Your address is to be placed to the side, above or on the main entrance door so that the number is plainly visible from the street. If the structure is more than 50 feet from the street or when the entrance is not visible from the street, the number shall be placed at the walk, driveway, or other suitable location that is easily discernible from the street.
