  • Polygraph Examination
  • Interview with Chief of Police
  • Psychopathological Examination (after Conditional Offer of Employment)
  • Comprehensive Medical Examination (after Conditional Offer of Employment)

New Recruits

New Roanoke County Police recruits must complete the seven (7) month Roanoke County Criminal Justice Academy and three (3) months of field training before becoming a certified law enforcement officer.
