Planning Commission
The Planning Commission, an advisory board to the Board of Supervisors, makes recommendations on a variety of land use issues. The Commission is also charged with preparing and maintaining the Comprehensive Plan and recommending changes to reflect new land use policies. One Commissioner is appointed for each Magisterial District.

Meetings
Unless otherwise noted, all Planning Commission meetings are held at the Roanoke County Administration Center, 5204 Bernard Drive, typically on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. See the 2022 Planning Commission Meeting Dates for specific days.
