[ARCHIVED] Author Sharyn McCrumb at Glenvar Branch Library on July 18

Award-winning Southern author Sharyn McCrumb, best known for her Appalachian ballad novels, will appear at the new Glenvar Branch Library at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18 to talk about her books and her writings. Barnes & Noble will sell “The Ballad of Tom Dooley” and “The Ballad of Frankie Silver” after the program. Ms. McCrumb will also be available to sign any of her books that guests bring with them.

Ms. McCrumb's appearance at the new Glenvar Branch Library is part of the opening celebration of this new facility. Glenvar Branch Library is located 3917 Daugherty Road in Salem. Seating is on a first-come basis. This is a FREE event!
