[ARCHIVED] Roanoke Valley Bear Awareness Seminar Set for April 1.

Got bears? Join officials from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF) as they discuss the challenges of living with bears in urban and suburban neighborhoods.

The seminar is free to the public and is scheduled for April 1, 2014, at Northside High School Library, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Topics for the seminar include Current Black Bear Status, Urban Bear Management, and a question and answer session for seminar attendees.
