[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Traffic Alert: Pipe Replacement to Close a Section of Dry Hollow Road (Rt 649)

SALEM – Weather permitting, beginning Monday, March 3, a section of Route 649 (Dry Hollow Road) in Roanoke County will be closed for a pipe replacement.

The work will take place at the end of the state maintained portion of Route 649 near Camp Roanoke. Three property owners are affected by this work. There is no alternative route and a pedestrian bridge will be in place.

Flaggers will direct traffic at times.

The road will reopen on Friday, March 14.
