[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate Sunday Morning Crash on Williamson Road

Roanoke County Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:36 AM Sunday morning in the 6900 block of Williamson Road in Roanoke County. Douglas Benson was traveling north on Williamson Road when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Benson was transported to the hospital by Roanoke County Fire & Rescue personnel with life threatening injuries. Alcohol or drugs were not indicated at the time of the crash.
