[ARCHIVED] Traffic Altered Saturday on Brambleton Avenue in Roanoke County for Parade

December 9, 2016—Roanoke County Police will be on hand Saturday morning to direct traffic on Brambleton Avenue.

The two southbound lanes on Brambleton Avenue, from Harris Street to Garst Mill Road will close at 9:30 a.m. for Roanoke County's first Christmas parade. Police encourage drivers to use alternate routes but traffic will continue to flow in the two northbound lanes of Brambleton Avenue in the area of the parade. The parade is expected to end at approximately 11:00.

The parade will commence at 10:00 and is hosted by the Brambleton Area Business Association and Roanoke Valley Community Credit Union. Spectator parking is available in the Cave Spring Kroger/Hamrick's parking lot.
