[ARCHIVED] Citizens Invited to Community Meeting About Proposed County Budget

(March 30, 2018) County Administrator Thomas Gates will host a community meeting to present the Proposed Operating Budget for fiscal year 2018-2019, along with the Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget for fiscal years 2019-2028.

The meeting will be held Monday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the South County Library Meeting Room (6303 Merriman Road, Roanoke, Virginia 24018).

The County Administrator will explain revenue projections for the coming year and discuss major components of the proposed County budget which was presented to the Board of Supervisors at the March 13 meeting. In the coming weeks, the Board of Supervisors will review the proposed budgets with the goal of adopting a final Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program in May.
