[ARCHIVED] Public Safety Non-Emergency Telephone Service Restored

UPDATE: (Roanoke County, VA— April 2, 2018) - Service to Roanoke County’s Public Safety Non-Emergency telephone line at (540) 562-3265 has been restored as of 4:00 p.m., April 2, 2018.

Roanoke County’s Emergency Communications Center encourages residents to use (540) 562-3265 for non-emergency information, and to dial use 9-1-1 for emergencies.

(Roanoke County, VA— April 2, 2018) - Roanoke County’s Public Safety Non-Emergency telephone line (540) 562-3265 is temporarily out of service this afternoon.

Until the services to the regular Non-Emergency telephone line are restored, residents may call (540) 283-6597 for non-emergency information.

Roanoke County’s Emergency Communications Center says that all 9-1-1 telephone lines are fully in service. Residents are asked to limit 9-1-1 calls for emergencies only at this time.
