[ARCHIVED] Virginia Baptist Disaster Relief Visiting South County to Assess Flood Damage on June 1

Virginia Baptist Disaster Relief Crews in WV

Roanoke County Emergency Management has been in touch with the Virginia Baptist Disaster Relief organization which has offered their assistance in helping citizens clean up following the weekend flooding.

We want to ensure our citizens are aware that two individuals with Virginia Baptist Disaster Relief will be in neighborhoods in the Cave Spring and Oak Grove areas, as well as in Roanoke City neighborhoods that were impacted. Virginia Baptist Relief will be in the impacted neighborhoods on Friday, June 1, talking with neighbors about their needs to determine if the organization should bring in volunteers to provide disaster assistance.
