[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Office Schedules for Thanksgiving Holiday Week

Thanksgiving 2018 Office Schedules

Roanoke County administrative offices will be closed Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23.

Trash Collection for Thanksgiving Holiday Week, November 19-23:

Mon. and Tues. routes collected Monday, November 19.
Wed. routes collected Tuesday, November 20.
Thurs. routes collected on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Please place the containers to the street on the listed day and leave until emptied.

Roanoke County Public Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21. Libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23.

All Roanoke County Recreation Facilities will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 22. Individual facilities will be operating under the following schedules this week:

Green Ridge Recreation Center - Closed Thursday. Open regular hours starting Friday with a modified group exercise schedule including Zumba at 8:30 am, Hydrofit at 9 am, Body Pump at 9:35 am and Cycle at 10:45 am

Explore Park - Visitor Center closed Thursday. Open 9 am to 5 pm starting Friday with special artisan crafts for show and sale. On Friday, get food samples from Food Lion's Random Acts of Freshness from 11 am to 3 pm. On Saturday, enjoy live hammer dulcimer music from 11 am to 3 pm.

Brambleton Center - Closing early on Wednesday, November 21 at 5 pm, remaining closed through Friday and re-opening regular hours on Saturday.

Administrative Offices & Craig Center - Closed on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22.
