[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Administrative Office Holiday Hours

Roanoke County Administrative Offices Holiday Hours

Roanoke County office will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. County offices will also be closed Monday, December 31, and Tuesday, January 1 for New Year’s Day.

Trash Collection

Trash will be collected on Monday, December 24 and Monday, December 31. Trash collection for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be one day late for the weeks of December 25-28 and January 1-4, 2019.

Library Holiday Hours
Roanoke County’s Public Library branches will be closed Monday, December 24 through Tuesday, December 25 and also closed Monday, December 31, and Tuesday, January 1 for New Year's Day.

Recreation Facilities

Explore Park will be open 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. for the Christmas Market and Holiday Village Event from Thursday, December 20 through December 24. Closed Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year’s Day. Open from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. all other days.

Green Ridge Recreation Center Schedule
Monday, December 24 - Christmas Eve - 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, December 25 - Christmas Day – Closed
Monday, December 31 - New Year’s Eve - 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, January 1 - New Year’s Day – Closed
Brambleton Center and Parks & Recreation administrative offices will follow the County office holiday schedule above.

Circuit Court Clerk’s Office
The Circuit Court Clerk’s Office will be closed December 24 and 25, and closed December 31 and January 1.
