[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Construction to Begin at Intersection of Electric Road and Colonial Ave

Electric Road and Colonial Avenue Project Map

Beginning Sunday, July 12th at 7 p.m., VDOT will begin construction at the intersection of Route 419/Electric Road and Colonial Avenue. Both Route 419 left turn lanes will be moved farther left to improve driver sight distance along Route 419. To move the turn lanes, the existing concrete medians will be demolished. Storm drain modifications are also included in this project. Daytime lane closures are not anticipated and work should be complete by the end of July.
