[ARCHIVED] Reserve 9-1-1 Calls for Emergencies, Report Outages to Utility Companies

Utility Contacts Spotlight

Roanoke County is asking citizens to reserve 9-1-1 calls for medical emergencies, police, and fire & rescue calls.

Please reserve calls to 911 for medical, fire, or police emergencies only and use the contacts below to report utility outages:

Report power outages to Appalachian Electric Power at 800-956-4237.
Report gas leaks to Roanoke Gas Company at 540-777-0622.
Report problems with water mains, contact the Western Virginia Water Authority at 540-853-5700.
