[ARCHIVED] Halloween Trunk or Treat 2023

Halloween is October 31 each year and is not a Roanoke County holiday. Halloween events and “Trick or Treat” are community traditions held by various neighborhoods and other sponsors of Halloween activities. These groups determine their own schedules, whether the events occur on October 31, the weekends prior or after that date, or during the week.

This year, Roanoke County's Public Safety agencies are hosting a Halloween Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 31 at the

Roanoke, VA 24019

The event starts at 4:30 PM and lasts until 8:30 PM. Family-friendly activities will feature candy for trick-or-treaters, hot dogs, face painting, a petting zoo, and outdoor games.

This year's event is sponsored by Roanoke County Police, Roanoke County Emergency Services, Western Virginia Regional Jail, Roanoke County Fire & Rescue, District 15 Probation and Parole, and Roanoke County Sheriff's Office.
