[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Independence Day Schedule

Independence Day Spotlight

Roanoke County's administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, 2024 to observe the Independence Day Holiday. See the list below for other office and facility schedules.

Trash Collection Revised Collection Schedule
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday routes collected on schedule.
Thursday routes will be collected Friday, July 5.

Parks and Recreation Facility Schedules
Green Ridge Recreation Center open 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Explore Park Visitor Center open 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Treetop Quest at Explore Park open 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Splash Valley Water Park open 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Roanoke County Public Service Center - CLOSED
Brambleton Recreation Center – CLOSED

Roanoke County Public Libaries
All RCPL locations will close at 5pm on Wed., July 3 and be closed on Thurs., July 4 for Independence Day.

CORTRAN Services
There will be NO CORTRAN services on Thursday, July 4.

McAfee Knob Trailhead Shuttle
The will be NO shuttle service on Thursday, July 4

Roanoke County Circuit Court
Roanoke County Circuit Court will be closed Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th.
