[ARCHIVED] Safe Street and Roads For All Public Survey Available Through September 30th

(September 16, 2024)—Roanoke County, Botetourt County and the Town of Vinton are collaborating on a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan through the Federal Highway Administration’s Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) program with the goal of preventing deaths and serious injuries for all roadway users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, commercial vehicle operators, transit riders and micromobility users.

About fifty people attended community meetings held over the past two weeks. Now localities want your thoughts on proposed solutions for high crash intersections and corridors including Routes 11, 24, 116, 220, 221, 311, 419 and 460. Surveys are open through September 30, 2024. Additional information and survey links are available on each jurisdiction’s Safe Streets and Roads For All webpage:
