[ARCHIVED] Flash Flood Warning in Roanoke County and Surrounding Areas

Flash Flood Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD WARNING for Roanoke County and the surrounding areas of Roanoke City, Salem, and Craig County until 5:15 PM today. Our area is expected to receive between several inches of rain throughout the afternoon which will cause flooding in low-lying areas, creeks, streams, rivers and highways.

Please avoid travel today if you can. If you must travel, be aware of local flooding and DO NOT ATTEMPT to drive through flooded streets. Turn Around - Don't Drown!
