[ARCHIVED] Upcoming Road Closure: Miller Cove Road

Miler Cove Road Detour

Miller Cove Road will be closed for a bridge replacement beginning on June 23, 2025, and is anticipated to be completed by July 3, 2025. 

VDOT plans to replace a bridge on Miller Cove Road over Trout Creek, located 0.60 mile from the Craig County Line, roughly between 7860 and 7949 Miller Cove Road.

The detour route includes Route 621/Upper Craigs Creek Road, Route 311/Catawba Valley Drive, and Route 624/Newport Road (see attached detour route).
