[ARCHIVED] Labor Day Holiday Hours

Spotlight LaborDay 2025

Roanoke County offices will be closed Monday, September 1, for Labor Day. Please note the changes to services and facility hours below.

No trash collection on Monday, September 1. Trash Collection will be one day late the rest of the week.

Roanoke County Public Library branches will be closed Monday, September 1.

Roanoke County Parks, Recreation & Tourism holiday schedule for Monday, September 1:

      Green Ridge Recreation Center – Open 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM

      Explore Park Visitor Center – Open 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

      Treetop Quest at Explore Park – Open 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

      Splash Valley Water Park – Open 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

      Brambleton Recreation Center – CLOSED

      Parks, Recreation & Tourism Administrative Office - CLOSED

CORTRAN services will not be available Monday, September 1.

The McAfee Knob Trailhead Shuttle will be operating on Monday, September 1.
