[ARCHIVED] Glenvar Dog Attack

On Monday, October 6, 2025, the owner of a dog involved in an attack on a citizen in the Glenvar area of Roanoke County last week was arrested.

Tiffany Turner, 37, of Roanoke County, has been charged with the following offenses:
• One count of §18.2-52.2 – Felony: Animal attack resulting from owner’s disregard for human life
• Two counts of County Code §5-28 – Permitting a dog at large
• Two counts of County Code §5-26 – Harboring a nuisance animal

The victim in this case remains hospitalized and is currently listed in stable condition.

The neighbor who discharged his firearm during the attack, Brian Hill, 52, of Roanoke County, was arrested for the following offenses:
•Possession of a firearm by felon (§18.2-308.2)
•Misdemeanor reckless handling of a firearm (§18.2-56.1)
