Police Investigate Reported Robbery

(Roanoke County, VA) – On March 22, 2013, at approximately 3:25 a.m., Roanoke County Police responded to 3809 Brambleton Ave. (Stop Inn Food Store) for a reported robbery.

Officers were able to determine that a suspect entered the store at approximately 3:18 a.m. and demanded money from the associate that was working. According to witnesses, the suspect displayed what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol.

The suspect was described as a white male in his late 20's to early 30's, 5'4" - 5'10" and 120 - 140 pounds. He was described as wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black ski mask. The suspect was last observed fleeing the store on foot in the area of Brambleton Ave. and Garst Mill Rd. with an undetermined amount of money.
