(Roanoke County, VA) – On March 22, 2013, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Roanoke County Police responded to 3809 Brambleton Ave. (Stop Inn Food Store) for an armed robbery.
This week, officers made two arrests in the case. 18-year-old Brandon Christopher Thomas Maggi of Salem is charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of felony. The second person charged is 18-year-old Jonathan O'Meara of Roanoke. O’Meara is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to use a firearm in commission of a felony, principle in second to use of a firearm in commission of felony, and principle in the second to robbery.
Maggi is accused of entering the store and demanding money from the associate that was working. According to witnesses, the suspect displayed what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol. O’Meara is accused of aiding in the robbery by serving as a “lookout” while Maggi was in the store.
