[ARCHIVED] TRAFFIC ALERT: SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 81 IN BOTETOURT COUNTY BLOCKED DUE TO OVERTURNED TRACTOR-TRAIL

SALEM — Southbound Interstate 81 is closed at mile marker 167 in Botetourt County due to an overturned tractor-trailer.

Southbound I-81 traffic will need to detour off I-81 at exit 175 (Natural Bridge) onto Route 11 and back onto southbound I-81 at exit 162 (Buchanan).

No estimated time for reopening southbound I-81 has been established.
