[ARCHIVED] Update on Brush Collection Efforts (7/2/13 3:30 PM)

Due to the heavy demand for collection after the recent storm, brush collection is significantly delayed in Roanoke County. Solid Waste brush collection crews are still collecting Tuesday B Week Residents and expect to move on to Wednesday B Week Residents by the end of the week.

** Please do not mix bulk items with the brush as the brush cannot be collected with bulk intermingled.**

As a result of the delay for B Week residents, A Week residents will experience a significant delay as well. Please place all brush to the curb on your usual collection day and we will get to your street as soon as we possibly can.

If you have any questions, please contact the Solid Waste Division as 387-6225. Thank you for your patience during this collection period. We will provide periodic updates regarding our progress.
