[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Roanoke County Tractor-Trailer Incident Impacting Route 460 and Route 220 Alternate

SALEM – A tractor-trailer has overturned on eastbound Route 460 just east of its intersection with Route 220 Alternate in Roanoke County.

Route 460 traffic currently is reduced to one lane in each direction and shifted into westbound lanes. Motorists on eastbound and westbound Route 460 should expect delays and watch for changing traffic patterns.

In addition, one lane of southbound Route 220 Alternate approaching Route 460 is closed. Drivers cannot use the left/center turn lane from Route 220 Alternate onto eastbound Route 460.

No estimated time for reopening the lanes has been established at this time.
