[ARCHIVED] Credit Card Fraud Arrest

On Wednesday July 16th, officers with the Roanoke County Police investigating a suspicious vehicle, came into contact with three subjects in the parking lot of the Super 8 motel, located on Thirlane Road. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the subjects were involved in a credit card fraud scheme. Numerous stolen credit card numbers were recovered and the three subjects were arrested. Steven Lowe - 31 of Stone Mtn., GA, Raymond Mainor - 21 of Lithonia, GA, and Daniel Passee - 26 of Stone Mtn., GA were each charged with 5 counts of felony credit card number larceny, and 5 counts of felony credit card forgery. The investigation into this fraud scheme is ongoing and anyone with information should call the Criminal Investigations Division of the Roanoke County Police at 540 777-8641, the Emergency Communication Center at 540 562-3265 or the Roanoke Valley Crime Line at 540 344-8500.
