SALEM – Weather permitting, flaggers will control traffic on Route 116 (Jae Valley Road) in Roanoke County Wednesday, Aug. 27 through Friday, Aug 29 and Thursday, Sept. 11through Friday, Sept. 12.
The work will take place each day from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. near the Route 116 bridge over Back Creek. The lane closures are necessary as crews use equipment to collect soil samples.
