SALEM – Weather permitting, beginning Monday, Sept. 29, lane closures will be in place on Route 720 (Colonial Avenue) in Roanoke County for paving.
The lane closures will be on Route 720 between Route 419 and the Roanoke City limits from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. Flaggers and pilot trucks will control traffic.
The signal on Route 720 at the intersection of Route 618 (Ogden Road) will be out of service and flaggers will control traffic while work is being performed in the area.
Work is estimated to be complete by mid-October.
