Roanoke County Police were called to the area of the Roanoke River Overlook off the Blue Ridge Parkway in regard to a body being observed in the Roanoke River. Officers responded to the scene and a body was recovered.
The subject has yet to be identified and was transported to the Medical Examiners Office for further investigation. Additional information is pending the Medical Examiners investigation.
