SALEM – As part of the ongoing construction project at the Interstate 581 and Elm Avenue interchange, the ramp leading from Elm Avenue onto southbound I-581/Route 220 Expressway in Roanoke will be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Drivers will need to seek alternate routes.
This work is weather and work schedule permitting. Motorists are encouraged to watch for signs and message boards and to use caution as they travel through the work zone.
