[ARCHIVED] Update: I-81 Exit 140 Park and Ride Impacted by Nighttime Pavement Repairs

Weather permitting, pavement repairs at the Interstate 81 Park and Ride lot off exit 140 (Salem) in Roanoke County will impact parking during nighttime hours, Sunday, March 22 night through the morning of (Monday, March 30).

Work will be performed each night from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning. During these hours, those spaces in the parking facility designated with a white “X” will be unavailable. Overnight and long-term Park and Ride users should not leave their vehicles in these designated spaces or they will be towed to a different parking space.

In addition, pavement repairs also will require the southern entrance into the Park and Ride facility to be closed when work is being performed. This entrance is the one closest to I-81.

The northern entrance will remain open for Park and Ride users and will not be impacted by the work.
