[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Police Department Celebrate 25 Years on July 1 with Community Event

25th Anniversary Badge

The Roanoke County Police Department will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on July 1st. A free community event is planned and the public is invited to attend.

This free community event will include food, music and door prizes. Attendees are invited to take part in a bike rodeo; meet the K9 teams and Search & Rescue dogs; see how investigators collect and analyze evidence; see a DUI simulator; tour the Emergency Communications Center; visit displays of past and current police vehicles; and more.

The event begins July 1, from 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. at Roanoke County's Public Safety Center, 5925 Cove Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.

The event is open to the public and you do not need to be a Roanoke County resident to attend. For more information, call Officer Crosier at (540) 492-1209.
