[ARCHIVED] Multiple Car Break-Ins and a Stolen Vehicle in Roanoke County

Sometime during the late night hours of 09/3/15 to early morning hours of 09/4/15, multiple vehicles were rummaged through resulting in loose items and change being stolen. The break-ins occurred in the area of the Boxley Hills subdivision, offWilliamson Rd., and Vista Heights Subdivision, off Florist Rd.
A vehicle was also stolen from this area during the evening. The vehicle is described as a 2006 Hyundai Azera, purple in color, bearing a Virginia registration of XAC-8856.
All vehicles that were entered, were left unsecured. Officers caution citizens to always keep their vehicles locked, especially overnight.
Officers are currently working in the area and seeking additional victims of these break-ins. Anyone with information or noticing suspicious activity in the area is asked to call the Roanoke County Police Department at 540-562-3265.
