[ARCHIVED] Sign Up for RoCo Alert Emergency Notifications Today!

RoCo Alert

With several inches of rain coming to the area, the threat of flooding gets closer as the weekend goes on.

Roanoke County's Emergency Services are encouraging residents to sign up for cell phone alerts at today!

Our RoCoAlert cell phone alerts are based on the addresses you choose, like your home, work, a child’s school, or an elderly parent’s home.

RoCoAlert is only activated by Roanoke County public safety officers in the event of a threat to lives and property in a given area. Alerts are map-based and address-based, which allows us to target specific streets or neighborhoods that may be threatened.

Don't wait until a disaster strikes - sign up for cell phone alerts today at

RoCo Alert Sign Up page.
