Officers responded and established a perimeter after the victim left a residence claiming to have been the victim of a brandishing incident. Due to the original callers intoxicated state investigators were unable to substantiate claims of brandishing. It was determined that 2 small children were in the residence and that the suspect and original complainant used narcotics while in the presence of these children. Warrants were obtained for Child Neglect. The police were attempting to contact Mr. Hill over a loud speaker system for several hours; he did finally make contact with the officers at approximately 2:14am on 1/13/16. Mr. Hill was arrested and taken to the Roanoke County Jail.
