The Roanoke County Police Department has been notified of the discovery of a second swastika painted near the Hollins University campus. It appeared in a pedestrian underpass on Williamson Road in front of the campus that serves University students needing to cross the highway. Because it was in a location that was somewhat isolated, it is unknown whether the second swastika was painted at the same time as the first one, or whether it was painted more recently. It was first discovered Tuesday evening.
The Police Department is working with Hollins University administration in the investigation of the incident. There is no other new information to report at this time.
