Beginning Monday, June 20, the section of Cotton Hill Road (Route 688) between Raintree Road (Route 888) and Monet Drive (Route 1255) will be closed to through traffic.This section of Cotton Hill Road will be reconstructed as part of the ongoing road project.
Local traffic will still be able to use Cotton Hill Road so residents can access their homes during construction.
Through traffic on Cotton Hill Road will need to detour around the closure using Route 221 and Ranchcrest Drive/Merriman Road. Signs will be in place directing traffic.
Weather permitting, the roadway is expected to reopen by mid-July.
Message boards and signs are in place to advise motorists of the upcoming closure.
