[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Public Safety Center To Host Fall Open House This Saturday

(Roanoke County, VA—October 12, 2017) On Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Roanoke County’s Police Department, Fire & Rescue Department and Emergency Communications Center will be hosting a Fall Open House at its Public Safety Center, located at 5925 Cove Road, Roanoke, Virginia 24019.

The event will include:

Guided tours of the building to include the dispatch center
Vehicle displays to include police cars, fire trucks and ambulances, the S.W.A.T vehicle
K9 demonstrations
Bike patrol
DUI Golf Cart simulator
Static displays from the Roanoke County Emergency Communications Center, Roanoke County Fire & Rescue Department, Roanoke County Sheriff's Office and the Roanoke County Police Department
Crime prevention and fire prevention materials will be made available to the public.

The event is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will also be provided.
