[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County to Hold Design Open Houses for Planning Studies

(Roanoke County, VA—May 7, 2018) Roanoke County began work in January on two new planning studies focused on commercial corridors in the Hollins and Oak Grove areas. The public participated in community meetings and an online survey, and now the ideas are ready to be shared.

See where these ideas could lead at Design Open Houses this month for the Oak Grove and the Hollins Center studies. Staff will present the full results of the survey (595 completed for Oak Grove and 393 completed for Hollins) and their public input exercises. Attendees will get a chance to weigh in on more specific future possibilities for the areas regarding transportation, community spaces, design, and aesthetics.
