[ARCHIVED] Roanoke County Offices Closed Monday, December 10 Due Winter Weather Event

(ROANOKE COUNTY, VA – December 9, 2018) – Due to the amount of snowfall and dangerous road conditions throughout the valley, Roanoke County offices will be closed on Monday, December 10, 2018.

All Roanoke County Public Libraries will be closed Monday, December 10.

Roanoke County's recreation facilities and administrative offices will be closed through Monday, December 10 due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. This includes Green Ridge Recreation Center, Brambleton Center, Public Service Center at Kessler Mill Road, Explore Park, and the Craig Avenue Recreation Center. All programs and activities are canceled, and snow day camp programs will not be available.

Juvenile & Domestic Court will also be closed Monday, December 10, 2018.
General District Court will also be closed Monday, December 10, 2018.

Trash collection will not run on Monday, December 10th. Roanoke County’s General Services Department will issue a revised pickup schedule for the week as road conditions improve.
