[ARCHIVED] County Offices Open, Some Courts and Trash Collection Delayed

Roanoke County offices are open today.

Juvenile & Domestic Relations court opening at 12 noon and General District opening at 10 AM.

Trash Collection Notice for February 20
At this time no decision has been made regarding trash collection for Wednesday routes. Solid Waste crews will begin evaluating road conditions at daylight. We hope to determine by mid morning whether collection can occur today. Citizens with Wednesday collection should place their container to the curb as soon as they can safely do so and leave them until collected. Monday and Tuesday routes were completed on schedule.

Green Ridge Recreation Center Opens at 7 a.m. / Snow Day Camps Available
Green Ridge Recreation Center will delay opening until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20. Currently, we plan to open all other facilities on time, but please check status prior to your visit. Snow day camps will be available at Green Ridge Recreation Center (540) 777-6300 and Brambleton Center (540) 772-7529 as long as Roanoke County government is operating on a regular schedule.
